Some of you sometimes ask us why we grow daffodils in pots when they can be bought cheaper as dry bulbs in the autumn. Going by their popularity some customers obviously find it very helpful to buy them when they are about to flower, or are in bloom, to dot in amongst other plants. They also make lovely gifts to bring a bit of cheer and last longer than a bunch of cut flowers! The bulbs are poisonous.
